This is a time of year where onions are scattered through the whole city. Clumsy truckers keep dropping their piles of onions all over the place. I saw one of the trucks and it's an open top bed where you see a mound of onions above it. They overfill the trucks, making it likely that onions will tumble out of the trucks. I found a whole onion on the road and decided to keep it for later. It smells and tastes delicious. I wish I could cook it.
Behind the scenes look at Lancaster General Health's Downtown Outpatient Pavilion as it neared completion of its construction in 2008. Located across the street from Lancaster General Hospital and connected to the hospital by a pedestrian overpass, the Downtown Pavilion provides outpatient healthcare services at 540 N. There are a lot of fenced homes here. Not all of them have dogs. I think they like to use fences. Maybe the fences tend to last a long time in the desert and they the long term value of their use. It's hard to use natural vegetation as barriers since it doesn't survive very well.
